It is way past time we destroy the work of apathy and mediocrity in the local church family and truly seek a reformation that causes us to embrace Kingdom principles and methods. We must take the time to truly submit our hearts and minds to the transformational work of the Holy Spirit! Bishop’s School of Ministry, led by Bishop Walter, seeks to accomplish this exact purpose.

This is a 12-month experience that will challenge you at the very core of your beliefs and shake the foundation of your life! It is one of the most intense discipleship programs available to those who desire to see rapid growth and maturity in their Christian walk.  During the year long experience you will come face to face with many of the strongholds in your life that have limited your ability to truly grow in Christ. Transparency, honesty, and integrity will unite to bring clarity of purpose and vision with passion that will begin to reshape how you view the world and the role you play in the Kingdom of God.

Romans 12:2 tells us that transformation does and can take place with the renewing of our mind. This means one of the greatest obstacles in our transformation to become like Christ, is found within the paradigm we currently exist in. We must be willing to ask tough question and face even tougher answers. Even when the answers are not comfortable and reveal something about ourselves that we would rather avoid. Jesus is quoted in John 8:32 as saying, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free!” Understanding this key principle of spiritual breakthrough will bring exponential growth to our walk with Christ and set us free from destructive behavior.

Sign up today to begin this journey of discipleship which will encourage and inspire you to reach for your full potential in Jesus Christ!

Accreditation

Bishop’s School of Ministry was created for the training and discipleship of Christian saints who desire to see the Holy Spirit move in their life, family, workplace, and church. Because of this, BSOM is not seeking accreditation from any regional or national agency.

The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education has recognized BSOM as an exempt religious degree granting institution whose sole purpose is religious and theological training.

This means the degrees offered through Bishop School of Ministry are non-academic in nature and cannot be used to qualify a recipient for licensure of certification with the state or other professional associations outside of the church world.

BSOM does not award Arts, Science, or Applied Science degrees. The degrees offered at this current time is limited to an Associates of Christian Discipleship and Bachelors of Christian Discipleship. These degrees are purely religious in nature.

Denominations and individual churches have the sole discretion for deciding if they will honor a degree earned through Bishop’s School of Ministry.

Consideration is being given to seek accreditation with a theological agency in the future.

Bishop's School of Ministry is not recognized by the U. S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Bishop’s School of Ministry is the sole provider of ministerial training for Veritas Church Ministerial Fellowship. The Fellowship has three levels of ministerial recognition which require hands on training from Bishop Walter, the Veritas Pastoral Council, as well as the bishop’s personal leadership team.

Completing the Certificate in Christian Discipleship will qualify you to apply for recognition as a Certified Minister of the Gospel which carries the title of Minister.

Completing the Associate of Christian Discipleship will qualify you to apply for recognition as a Licensed Minister of the Gospel which carries the title of Reverend.

Completing the Bachelors of Christian Discipleship will qualify you to apply for recognition as an Ordained Minister of the Gospel which carries the title of Elder/Pastor.

Logo

Bishop's School of Ministry logo reveals the heart of this ministry along with our core beliefs.
“In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.” Ephesians 6:16 (NLT)

The shield represents our faith. Faith is what holds us firm when everything else is falling apart. Faith is what keeps us steady when the world is shaking. At Bishop’s School of Ministry we intentionally pursue the increasing of our faith and our ability to deploy it in our daily lives.
“Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.”
Acts 2:3 (NLT)

The flame reminds us of the power of the Holy Spirit and our passion for the intentional pursuit of His work in our life. We believe in the present day works of the Holy Spirit. We are NOT cessationist!
“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)

The sword is a reminder of how powerful the Word of God is. It is the primary weapon against the enemy of our soul. At Bishop’s School of Ministry, we place great emphasis on devoting the written Word to memory.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 (NLT)

The butterfly is symbolic of the transformation that takes place in our life, heart, and mind as we pursue a relationship with God our Father. As we transform and become the people God has called us to be, we are able to better pursue the works He has created for us.
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”
John 14:16-17 (NLT)

Bishop’s School of Ministry believes in the Trinity. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We are trinitarian in doctrine.
